how is this 16A selected? This is determined according to the maximum current that can be borne by the circuit breaker protected objects such as sockets, wires and electrical appliances

circuit breaker without accessories can almost be determined to be circuit overload; For the circuit breaker with added accessories, observe whether the accessories change. If the accessories do not change, it is also due to circuit overload

the reason for the overload of the circuit is that the total power of the electric appliances used simultaneously in the circuit is too large. At this time, just remove the circuit of high-power electrical appliances, or reduce the number of electrical appliances, and then switch on

reason 2: short circuit

reason 3: leakage

the circuit breaker with accessories will have the functions of the circuit breaker itself and accessories at the same time. Then, how to judge whether the circuit breaker tripped due to overload or leakage

at this time, it depends on the status of the attachment. The most common kind of attachment has a "reset button" on the attachment, and there is a text beside the button, eliminating the trouble of finding scissors or ballpoint pens to puncture the package. Under normal circumstances, this button is in the same plane with the circuit breaker shell, but once there is leakage in the circuit, this button will protrude. Moreover, direct closing cannot be switched on. Only by pressing this button can it be switched on again

if this happens after tripping, it is proved that there is leakage fault in the circuit. Otherwise, other faults should be considered

reason 4: undervoltage

in addition to the common accessories of leakage protector, there is also an accessory called "undervoltage release", which, as the name suggests, automatically trips when the voltage is too low

this accessory is generally installed in places with unstable voltage to prevent electrical appliances from overload operation under low voltage conditions, so as to avoid burning electrical appliances. But there is a worry about using this thing, that is, it will trip when there is a power failure

there will be a reset button on the accessories of the undervoltage release, which is the same as the leakage protector. When the button is highlighted after tripping, the TPV production technology is monopolized by a few developed countries, which proves that there is undervoltage fault in the circuit

at this time, just wait for the voltage to stabilize and switch on directly

reason 5: overvoltage

in addition to the undervoltage release, there is also an "overvoltage undervoltage release", which has an additional function, that is, when the voltage is too high, the circuit breaker still trips

after the overvoltage and undervoltage release trips, there will also be a reset button. However, at this time, it is impossible to see whether the cantilever impact strength (with notch) is due to high voltage tripping or low voltage tripping, but it is certainly due to voltage instability
